Saved Guide Searches allow users to schedule guide searches at predetermined intervals and receive e-mail with the results. the SnapStream Enterprise TV Server can be also be configured to schedule the results of saved guide searches automatically.

This page lists all Saved Guide Searches that have been created by the user who is currently logged in. Users with the Administer E-mail Alerts permission will be able to see alerts created by all users. See User Configuration for more information on permissions.

Click Create New Saved Guide Search to open the Saved Guide Search creation page. The same page can be reached for existing alerts by selecting Edit.

Name

The name of the Saved Guide Search. This will be the beginning of the subject line of each alert e-mail.

To Email Address
This is where the Saved Guide Search e-mail will be sent. Multiple addresses can be entered separated with a comma.

From Email Address
This is the address the TV Alert will appear to be sent from.

Automatically Schedule Guide Search Results
Enabling this option will cause the SnapStream Enterprise TV Server to schedule recordings for all of the results of the search automatically. These recording jobs are created at the lowest priority. For more on priority and conflict resolution, see Recording Settings and Priorities.

Search Terms
These are the search terms which will be included in each search. Click Test to see an results from current guide data. To create another alert for another set of search terms, click Save and then Create New Alert.
