Task Queue

The Task Queue section available from the main menu of the Web Admin Interface enables users to review, modify and delete individual ShowSqueeze, SmartSkip, and StreamSnip jobs, as well as define the "off-peak" hours during which such jobs are limited by default to being performed. This page will list all such jobs pending, running, or completed. If a given recording has multiple jobs of these types assigned to it, they will appear in a single listing.


Edit Constraints
This button opens the ShowSqueeze Settings page.

Delete Successes
This button will delete all the entries on this page for operations that have completed successfully.

Delete Failures
This button will delete all the entries on this page for operations that have failed.

There are a total of five options available that can be performed on these jobs, depending on the status of the job.

Wait

This option only affects Smartchapter tasks, and will only appear as an option for a job currently Running (though not necessarily one currently completing the Smartchapter task itself). Using this option on a Smartchapter task causes it to wait until the time specified on the ShowSqueeze Settings page.

Delete

This option stops (if running) and removes the job, preventing its execution.

Start

Causes the job to start immediately.

Stop

Stops the job, but does not remove it from the list of jobs, enabling it to be restarted later if desired.

Reset

Restarts a job which has failed or which has been stopped by the user.
