The ShowSqueeze Settings page allows configuration of ShowSqueeze recompression of recorded shows.
Automatic Showsqueeze
Specifies whether the software should perform ShowSqueeze on all recordings it creates, or whether the user will manually specify the recordings to ShowSqueeze.
Time Constraints
Set constraints to Enabled to force Showsqueeze, SmartSkip, and StreamSnip jobs to run only during the specified time window. When Enabled is selected, two drop-down boxes will appear, one to the left and one to the right, that enable specification of the beginning and end of the constraints time window.
Set constraints to Disabled to allow such operations to be completed as soon as possible.
Default Target Video Folder
Specifies where the ShowSqueezed recording should be placed. Select "Same as source" to keep it in the same folder it was initially recorded to, or choose a different Video Folder.
Default Format for ShowSqueeze
Specifies whether the user wishes the show to be recompressed to the Windows Media (WMV) format or simply copied to a different Video Folder.
Delete Source File After ShowSqueeze
Specifies whether or not the SnapStream Enterprise TV Server will delete the file on which it performed the ShowSqueeze operation (the source) after the new file (the target) has been created.
Intelligent Quality Selection
Allows the SnapStream Enterprise TV Server to choose the Quality Profile to use when performing ShowSqueeze operations, in order to best preserve the quality of the source file in the target.
Automatic StreamSnip
This feature is not available with SnapStream Enterprise TV servers.
Custom Post Processing Order
Determines where in post-processing custom steps will occur. For more information on setting up custom post-processing, consult the article entitled "How to create custom post-processing steps to execute command-line operations on recordings" from the SnapStream Knowledge Base.
Number of Simultaneous ShowSqueezes
This option allows the SnapStream Enterprise TV Server to run multiple ShowSqueeze jobs at the same time. You can run a maximum of one ShowSqueeze operation for each processor on your PC. If this option is set to Auto Detect, the SnapStream Enterprise TV Server will run the maximum number of ShowSqueeze jobs. Setting this option higher than the number of processors in your PC will have the same effect as Auto Detect.
