Architecture

Enterprise TV has three sections to its user interface.

1.The ViewScape Interface:  
This is the primary user interface (UI). When the ViewScape interface starts, the Home menu will be displayed, an example of which is displayed below.

Notes:  
·Exiting the ViewScape interface on the Enterprise Server, either by the menu option, ALT-F4, or hitting the "X" in the upper right corner, does not exit the program. the SnapStream Enterprise TV Server will still appear as a system tray icon, and will remain active in order to be able to create and process recordings. To exit the SnapStream Enterprise TV Server, use the System Tray icon, described below.  
·A red dot (reddot) appears in the lower right corner of the ViewScape interface while a recording is in progress.  
 

2.The System Tray icon:  
This icon is placed in the System Tray primarily to allow launching the ViewScape interface and to allow management of Enterprise TV. Note: The System Tray Icon only appears when using the software on the Enterprise Server, not when using a Link connection.

Right-click on this icon to display the following menu of options:

·Open Enterprise TV: This option will launch the ViewScape interface. Double-clicking on the system tray icon will also take this action.  
·Advanced Settings: This option opens the Web Admin interface to its Settings page.  
·iTunes Settings: This option opens the Web Admin interface to its iTunes Integration Settings page.  
·Stop all recordings: Halts every recording currently in progress.  
·About Enteprise TV: Displays information about the software, including version number and copyright notices. Also allows access to the System Information Uploader and the Backup / Restore Settings functions.  
·Stop/Start Services: Starts or stops Enterprise TV services. Note that Open Enterprise TV, Advanced Settings, iTunes Settings and Stop All Recordings will be grayed out when the services are stopped.  
·Exit: Exits the Enterprise TV system tray agent. Note that this does not stop the Enterprise TV services.  


3.The Web Admin Interface:  
This interface is designed for advanced users. It handles detailed configuration and enables remote access and streaming functions and is described in the "For Advanced Users" section of this document.
